Paul & Patricia
Retired couple Paul and Patricia have lived in Bedfordshire, North London and Hertfordshire. During their working life the couple owned and ran two successful nursery schools with ‘outstanding’ OFSTED ratings.
Prior to this, Patricia taught in the private education sector and Paul was a Manufacturing Technology Manager for Nokia. The couple enjoy the flexibility retirement gives them to spend time on their hobbies, fitness and with friends and family.
During the past ten years of retirement we have had the most fun renovating a villa in the Canaries and enjoying many holidays with family and friends creating amazing memories. We also renovated a property in the New Forest for the rental market. Recently we have decided to sell up these two projects and are looking to the future of possibly acquiring a holiday home in the UK but still looking to explore the world.
Not taking anything for granted, we value our family, close friends, health and each other. We have recently celebrated 36 years of marriage and pretty significant birthdays! We have enjoyed seeing our two wonderful children marry and settle down in their own homes and very much enjoy spending time with them holidaying or helping them with DIY jobs in their homes.
We have been able to do all of this safe in the knowledge that Paul at Tandem and his team are really looking after us and our investments. They are always available if we need any advice and are quite simply our trusted ‘financial friends’.
