25 Sep Ted Talks by Wendy Suzuki: The brain-changing benefits of exercise
What is the most transformative thing that you can do for your brain today? Exercise! says neuroscientist Wendy Suzuki!
Dr. Wendy A. Suzuki is a Professor of Neural Science and Psychology at the Centre for Neural Science, New York University. She is best known for her extensive work studying areas in the brain critical for our ability to form and retain new long-term memories. More recently her work has focused on understanding how aerobic exercise can be used to improve learning, memory and higher cognitive abilities in humans.
This video harnesses her extensive research into the field and is a good starting point for those sceptical of taking the plunge, buying our book recommendation and getting active right off the bat! Nevertheless, we hope you will enjoy both and that they will serve as the impetus you need to get up and enjoy a more active lifestyle.
